Our cider is made from a combination of locally sourced bittersweet and bittersharp apples. It's fermented in aged French oak and then undergoes a secondary fermentation in the bottle. We've tried not to add any nasty additives however couldn't get away with not adding preservative. We hope we haven't lost too many points on the au naturale product scale but rest assured, the whole team at Bob's wears a hair shirt for at least one day a week as personal punishment.

The enchanting Mollydooker story began when two left-handers, Sarah and Sparky Marquis, discovered they had an extraordinary talent for making wine together. Starting with just $1000 in the bank, they built their company by helping their grower friends to grow exceptional quality grapes, and made wines from those grapes in the back of their winemaker friends' wineries.

During their winemaking journey they produced five very successful award-winning brands for their friends; Fox Creek, Henry's Drive, Parson's Flat, Marquis Philips and Shirvington. In 2006 they created their own brand, and named it Mollydooker (Aussie for left hander). Their first vintage of 32,000 cases was phenomenally successful, with the Lefty wines selling out in 19 days, and the Love wines in 5. Sarah and Sparky now make 60,000 cases a year, but don't intend to expand production. They believe that they are already making all the quality wine they can, and they prefer to stay a small, family company.

Tertini Wines is dedicated to producing premium, cool climate wines with a particular interest in alternative varieties. The wines are subtle and elegant, with excellent fruit characters arising from the long, slow ripening period and our commitment to hand pruning, hand picking and low cropping. High natural acidity gives the wines a clean finish and good cellaring potential.

Our "Yaraandoo" vineyard is located near the historic village of Berrima in the Southern Highlands, an emerging cool climate region in New South Wales, at the relatively high altitude of 715 metres.

Although the vineyard is young, with the first plantings in 2000, it has produced outstanding fruit from the start. Our first real vintage was 2005 and the first wine we completed (the '05 Tertini Riesling) won a Gold Medal and a Trophy in the first wine show we entered! Each wine and vintage since then has brought more medals from wine shows and accolades from Australia's leading wine writers.

These outstanding results from young vines show great promise for the future and confirm the potential of both the vineyard and the region.

Our viticulturist is a cool climate/Southern Highlands specialist who applies all his knowledge to obtaining the best possible results in the vineyard. We hand prune and then hand pick to ensure that only the best fruit is selected each year. Our winemakers are also cool climate specialists who apply their expertise and experience through careful, meticulous handling in the winery.

Cellar Door: We welcome visitors to our Cellar Door from 10am - 5pm every Thursday - Monday, or other times by appointment. The Cellar Door is attached to our winery which is just 6 minutes from Mittagong on Kells Creek Road (off Wombeyan Caves Road).

Clonakilla is a small, family winery dedicated to making distinctive, handcrafted wines. Our wines are made in limited quantities and can be a little hard to find. They are worth the search. We make a range of wines, but our speciality is wines made from two varieties which have their original home in the Northern Rhone valley in France: Syrah (Shiraz in Australia) and Viognier. Our flagship is a Shiraz Viognier blend. Clonakilla was established in 1971 by present owner John Kirk. A Canberra based research scientist of Irish descent, John came to Australia with his young family in 1968 to work with the CSIRO Division of Plant Industry. To his surprise, despite the suitability of the environment, there was no wine industry in the cool southern table lands of NSW around Canberra. To remedy this situation, he bought a 44 acre farm near the village of Murrumbateman in New South Wales, 40 kilometres north of Canberra. The soil consisted of sandy clay loams over friable clay and a deeper layer of decomposed granite. Holding high hopes for its wine producing potential, he proceeded to plant 1.2 acres each of Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling. He named the property Clonakilla (gaelic for 'meadow of the church') after his grandfather's farm in County Clare.

A further 1.2 acres of Shiraz, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were planted in 1972 and the vines grew well, although some were lost in a drought in 1972-73. John persevered and produced the Canberra District's first commercial vintage in 1976: a Riesling and a Cabernet Shiraz. In 1978 a bore was sunk and larger plantings became feasible. From 1978 to the present the vineyard has gradually expanded with Shiraz, Viognier and Riesling the dominant varieties.

At the end of 1996 John's fourth son Tim left a teaching career at Melbourne's Xavier College to work full time in the family business. Tim is Clonakilla's chief winemaker and since 2009, CEO.

In 1998 Tim and his wife Lara bought the 50 acre property next door and planted Shiraz and Viognier as well as a small olive grove on the warm north-east facing slope. In 2007 Euroka Park, the 55 acre farm on the northern boundary of Clonakilla was purchased. Four acres of Shiraz was planted in a high, north facing block along with a small block of Chateauneuf-du-Pape varieties: Grenache, Mourvedre, Cinsault and Carignan. There are now thirty acres (twelve hectares) of vines planted across the three estate properties. Fruit is also purchased from a number of growers in the Canberra District and the Hilltops region around the town of Young on the south western slopes of New South Wales.

The Chain of Ponds winery was established in 1985 on the outskirts of Gumeracha, approximately 4km from the original township. While vineyards have been part of the makeup of the area since colonisation, the Chain of Ponds Winery was the first major planting of any note in the northern area of the Adelaide Hills region. Four thousand vines were initially planted, covering 9 varieties, consisting of 470 vines of each variety, which was further increased with an additional 150 acres planted in 1989. The first vintage being in 1988.

The winery has more recently extended the vineyard boundaries to source fruit from a much broader area of the region, which has added further complexities and subtleties to the wines themselves. Chain of Ponds produces a wide range of products and varieties which are perfectly suited to this cool climate region. The white varietals include Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Semillon and Chardonnay. The reds include popular Australian varieties: Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as emerging and exciting varieties for the region: Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, Barbera and Nebbiolo.

Black Thursday Sauvignon Blanc
"Bursting palate of tropical paw paw, guava and melon balanced by notes of passionfruit, hints of cucumber and split pea. The rounded tropical fruit palate is supported by a tight citrus acidity that gives a zesty, crisp finish. Enjoy Young!"

The Ledge - Shiraz"Intense spice and liquorice, good strong plum and mulberry fruits, well balanced nose with a hint of perfumed violets and chocolate. Generous upfront fleshy fruit, with distinct plums and dark cherry flavours"
Island Sting - Honey Liquer
"The initial flavours are luscious and oily, with a rich and slippery texture that lingers on with amazing viscosity. The finish is almost bitter sweet with a crisp drying acidity that cleanses the palate."

Many other varieties available, see website for entire range.

The cool, even climate of the King Valley encourages a wide range of grape varieties to flourish, with the long ripening season providing the time for flavours to develop. Across our vineyards, the result for us is that it is the perfect place to grow and make not only the varieties that wine lovers are very familiar with (such as riesling, chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon, merlot and shiraz) but also indulge our passion for exploring innovation with Italian varieties. Otto's family history with vines in the Veneto region of Italy guaranteed that one day he would look to plant the varieties from the old country here. Prosecco, arneis, pinot grigio, barbera and sangiovese have now found a new home here, with our acclaimed prosecco being the first Australian made version in the marketplace.
Otto was born and raised in Valdobbiadene in northeastern Italy - a place renowned for its stone houses, citadels and winemaking. His love of viticulture, appreciation of fine wine and dedication to the highest standards were instilled from an early age. In 1967, Otto migrated from Italy to the King Valley in the foothills of the Victorian Alps in northeast Victoria with his wife Elena. Otto and Elena used their agricultural experience to grow tobacco as share farmers until shrinking demand set the decline of the local industry. With the purchase of an additional property in nearby Cheshunt in 1987 came the exciting opportunity for Otto to return to his oenophilic roots. The couple planted chardonnay, merlot and cabernet sauvignon vines on this new property, and Dal Zotto Wines was born. Their approach combines the best of traditional Italian methods alongside more modern, 'new-world winemaking techniques. With the expansion of the winery in 1994 came the opportunity for Otto to introduce Italian varietals into the vineyard - barbera, sangiovese, pinot grigio, arneis and, importantly, prosecco - a varietal and wine style that is the foundation of Otto's Italian hometown, and now the signature wine of the Dal Zotto range.
A second generation of Dal Zottos has joined Otto and Elena in their ongoing vision with sons Michael as winemaker and Christian as marketing manager. And with plenty of grandchildren, the Dal Zotto story is truly just beginning...

Little Creatures was built to make great beer and hopefully that is what we do . . . As beer makers, we try and test ourselves everyday in an effort to keep improving and are always looking for little ways to make our beer just that bit better.

Over the years since we started here in Fremantle the brewery itself has grown and developed to where it is today . . . journey that has certainly been a challenge but ultimately rewarding. Our cracker of a new brew-house has recently been commissioned, allowing us to brew not only more beer on site in Fremantle but brew it with a far greater nod to our environment, utilising cutting edge technology.

Next time you're in Fremantle make sure you drop by to say hi and have a good look around the Brewery . . . look out for us brewers, we’re the one's in the bright orange shirts and if you catch us at the bar (which there's a very good chance of) don't be afraid to say g'day and share a yarn... it's all in the name of great beer!Pale AleWe love our Pale Ale. Many of us from the brewery have made pilgrimages around the world in search of great varieties of this wonderful style. Surprisingly, there are no great secrets to brewing this type of ale but there are most definitely no great shortcuts.
Original PilsnerA refreshing and elegant lager styled on the classic European pilsners that use the finest ingredients and enjoy an extended fermentation period. Tasmanian Hallertau, New Zealand Pacifica and Czech Saaz hops are added throughout the brewing process giving a light flavour and crisp Bitterness. 4.6% alc.RogersVelvet smooth, Rogers weaves together the best whole hop flowers and toasted malts into a silky session ale like no other. Light, citrus hop notes roll gently into roasted hazelnut, toffee and caramel malt flavours, creating easy-drinking ale of flavour and finesse. With a Rogers in one hand and a pair of BBQ tongs in the other, we salute Roger Bailey and Roger Bussell, two legends of local brewing who continue to guide and inspire. Cheers! 3.8%Bright Ale Sunshine in a glass, Bright Ale is a happy little beer that glows with sparkling golden Vienna and Cara malts and our own local pale malt. To these, heady summer fruit aromas of luscious pineapple, passionfruit and melon are extracted with a generous addition of whole Cascade and Motueka hop flowers. Absolutely delicious. Crisp and clean, fresh and fragrant, Bright Ale captures the breezy West Coast style we love so much. 4.5%

Angove Family Winemakers was established in 1886 and is one of Australia's largest privately owned wine companies and stands as one of the few with strong interests in distilling as well as grape growing and winemaking.

Angove Family Winemakers specialises in making wines for every day enjoyment. Wines for a special lunch with family on a Sunday afternoon or wines to be shared with your partner over a simple meal at home after work. These are special times. In our busy lives, they don't happen as much as we would like. They are times to catch our breath, share our experiences and enjoy the company of those important to us. It could be with a favourite pasta at the kitchen bench at 8pm after a stressful day at work or a BBQ and salad thrown together around a back yard cricket match on a weekend.

Angove's wines are made for these times and for these customers. Both are unpretentious. Our wines are easy drinking styles that are good value for money.

Some wines have medals and a great reputation, as do the consumers but this wasn't their intention. They are real world.

Angove Family Winemakers values are based around the core values of any family - honesty, respect, hard work and tradition. All at Angove Family Winemakers respect the Heritage, Tradition, Integrity, Passion and Vision that can only come for over 120 years and Five Generations of Family Winemaking.

Grape varieties include Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Pinot Noir, Grenache, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Shiraz, Traminer and Pinot Grigio, Viognier, Chenin Blanc, Colombard, Malbec and Carignan plus many more

Around half of Angove Family Winemakers grape requirements are from company held estates with the remainder of the fruit drawn from smaller holdings owned by independent grape producers dotted throughout the local area and other premium grape growing regions throughout South Australia including Coonawarra, Clare Valley, McLaren Vale, Padthaway, Wrattonbully and the Adelaide Hills.

Angove Family Winemakers operates two cellar door outlets. Located at the winery at Renmark, and at the original cellars at Tea Tree Gully, both provide local and international guests with the opportunity to purchase Angove's wines and brandies for local consumption.

Renmark Cellar door is open 9 - 5 Monday - Saturday, and 10 - 4 Sunday. Tea Tree Gully Cellar door is open 9 - 5 Monday - Friday.

Online ordering is available for Australian residents via the Angove Family Winemakers website.
