T-SHIRTS. WHY CAN'T WE HAVE ENOUGH?
Because they are the perfect layering piece. Because they can be cool and also keep you warm. Because they can look clean and crisp on their own, and soft and feminine with a strand of pearls. Because they invariably go from being your most worn outwear garment to your preferred sleepwear item after the, say, 200th wash... people do not throw away their basic pieces, they stay in the wardrobe for years and years long after other items of clothing have been discarded, such is the recycleable nature of one's favourite t-shirt!
Recognizing the potential of the humble t-shirt, Happy go Lucy began life in 2002. The essence of my label ultimately being in the printed design, design with a distinctive difference, inspiring graphics designed for woman with a positive attitude to life and a desire to stand out from the crowd.
My passion for designing has evolved into the desire to create beautiful simple clothes that are truly comfortable. Utilising the soft silky texture of my fabrics these clothes are designed to skim the body and not cling and to layer and intermingle with one another. As the seasons change you will find the colour palettes interacting with each other providing you with an ever growing versatile and creative wardrobe that lasts and lasts.
While I used to stock a number of boutiques nationally, Happy go Lucy is now only available online and at my casual stall at the Fremantle Markets please check diary dates page for future bookings at the market.
