One day Adelaide River Wildlife & Leisure Fishing Cruise

This unique small group tour (max 10) combines many aspects of the Northern Territory that can be enjoyed in one leisurely day away from the crowds.

Your day begins when you are picked up by either Harry or Morgan from your Darwin or suburbs accommodation in a comfortable air conditioned mini bus. This is usually between 8.15 - 8.30.

Alternatively you can choose to drive to Howard Springs (approx, 25 minutes from Darwin) to meet us at 9.00 at an easy to locate location.

Your vehicle will be safe for the day on private property.

On the way to our pontoon we call in to Window on the Wetlands where there are some interesting displays and information on the region.

Then it is on to board your 6 metre shaded boat to explore the far reaches of the mighty, tidal Adelaide River.

A "jumping crocodile cruise" is a must for any visitor to the Northern Territory and we are exceptionally proud of our cruise!

In keeping with our small group philosophy our (child friendly) shaded boat only carries a maximum of 30 and operates 4 times a day over the dry season.

The jumping crocodile cruise is located on our private stretch of the Adelaide River at the end of Fogg Dam Road. It is about an hour and a quarter drive from Darwin.

You will see our territorial crocodiles who all have names at VERY close range for exceptional photo opportunities and our amazing birds will impress you.

We have deliberately kept a low impact approach to the cruise site to respect this pristine area and the animals that inhabit it.
